About White Strawberry

White strawberries, also called pineberries, grow wild in many parts of the world and have a more subtle, pineapple-like flavor than their red cousins. The strain White Strawberry has a less complex flavor than actual white strawberries, but is just as hard to find. This strain is a cross between fruity sativa Strawberry Cough and densely resinous hybrid The White. White Strawberry’s THC content has been measured at between 12% and 18%.

White Strawberry is marked by medium-sized flowers that maintain a tapered, almost conical shape. The buds look more indica than sativa in structure, with small curly leaves that spiral inward. These leaves themselves are a deep shade of forest green and are twisted through with vibrant orange pistils. Finally, The White passes on its production of a high density of crystalline white trichomes, giving White Strawberry’s flowers a very sticky texture and making them very difficult to break up without a grinder.

White Strawberry doesn’t have as distinct strawberry tastes as its parent strain Strawberry Cough, but it does contain some faint berry notes, along with a slight citrus aroma. Hanging out underneath these scents is a sweet and sour funk. Meanwhile, grinding up the dense flowers gives off a very skunky odor. When combusted in a pipe or a joint, White Strawberry gives off a very smooth and easily palatable smoke. This smoke has a sweet orange flavor and leaves behind a creamy mouthfeel.

White Strawberry wastes no time in making itself known, giving smokers a head rush just as they begin to exhale its fruity smoke. The strain’s effects are initially marked by a sudden dizziness or disorientation, along with a pressure in the face and a possible increase in salivation. Soon after these sensations abate, the smoker is shot into a fast-paced mindset, in which any inner monologue tends to become increasingly louder inside their head. Ideas or concepts may flow from one to the next in heretofore unseen associations. This kind of mindrace can lend itself to easy conversation and camaraderie in social settings. While this kind of thinking may be too buzzy for some to sustain concentration on complicated tasks, experienced cannabis consumers may be able to get some task-based work done. Those feeling more energetic may want to burn off the strain’s stimulation with exercise. White Strawberry’s cerebral vibe tends to persist for the duration of the high. That said, some subtle feelings of relaxation can take away a smoker’s motivation to get through a long to-do list. Instead, in these later stages, the strain is better suited to mundane housework like doing the dishes or laundry. As White Strawberry tapers off, it can also be a pleasant way to enjoy some quiet, introspective solo time. Because of its mostly upbeat, energetic properties, White Strawberry is best enjoyed during the day. It can even be a welcome wake-and-bake strain.

White Strawberry’s buzzy properties also give it a few uses for medical cannabis patients. The strain’s early feelings of close focus can be a boon to those with attention deficit disorders, helping them to stay zoned in on a single task. Its mood-altering properties can also temporarily soothe the symptoms of mild to moderate stress and depression. Physiologically, White Strawberry may dull physical pain ranging from injury-related discomfort to chronic conditions like arthritis. Because it can easily trigger intense patterns of recursive thinking that can take a turn into paranoia, this strain is not recommended for patients who are prone to panic or who have a low THC tolerance.

Seeds of this rarefied strain are not available for sale online. Instead, prospective home growers should obtain clippings of mature plants of this strain from a trusted source; such clippings can be grown as genetically identical “clones.” White Strawberry’ plants tend to grow short and squat with bushy undergrowth. Gardeners should occasionally “top” their crops by trimming away any broad leaves that can block light and air from reaching the plants’ lower branches. White Strawberry flowers within 8 to 9 weeks when grown indoors.

White Strawberry is an excellent choice for sativa fans who want persistent mental stimulation out of their smoke session. White Strawberry’s aroma and strength have already been replicated in the crossbreed White Strawberry Skunk.
