About Blue Wizard
Blue Wizard (not to be confused with Blissful Wizard) is a strain by Red Earth Gardens, growers out of Oklahoma. Its genetics are not well-known other than that they are a mix of landrace strains from Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, and India. What we do know is that the strain is frosty, purple, and indica-dominant (80/20), with an energizing, narcotic effect to match its sweet aroma. Continue reading to learn what this mysterious bud has in store.
We recommend growing this strain on a 20-hour light schedule at around 79 degrees. Air humidity should be around 40% and the distance between your plants and the lights should be about two feet. The strain’s unknown cocktail of landrace genetics makes it really hardy, but its growing conditions should still be closely managed. If you grow the strain indoors, which is recommended by most breeders, a hydroponics setup or expanded clay growing medium should give you the most plentiful yield from your Blue Wizard crop.

The plants themselves are lumpy stacks of purple nugs, shining with a white dusting of trichomes. The leaves are thin and very light green while the pistils, when visible, are a dull orange color. Indoors, the strain takes 8-9 weeks to finish flowering, yields high, and has a THC level of around 16-21%.
The flavors of the Blue Wizard strain are not well-documented, but they are known to be citrusy and sweet, with a very smooth inhale. Some consumers report an aroma of wine, cookies, and earth. Its effects are great for people with work-related stress who need a happy, fun high. Your mood will be lifted, your body will feel numb, and your head will be floating.
This strain contains not only a healthy dose of THC but also at least 1% CBD, so watch for psychoactive effects while using this strain. Information is otherwise pretty scarce on this frosty, dark purple, well-bred little anomaly. If you’re into powerful Midwest Indicas with a sweet-citrus flavor, basically a personification of the color blue in plant form, give Blue Wizard a taste.
